Instructions for oral and poster presenters

> Notes for oral presenters:

If you present first thing in the morning, please arrive before the 8 a.m. plenary to upload your presentation, otherwise, presentations will be uploaded during the break immediately before your presentation — please note the date/time of your presentation and the break before your presentation slot.

You cannot use your personal computer for presentations.

PowerPoints should be named using the following format:
FirstName_LastName_Title.ppt/.pptx/.pps/.pdf

Please ensure your poster conforms to the following specifications to accommodate all poster spots available:
1.07m x 1.17m (42′’ x 46″) (width x height; portrait)

  • Sunday Afternoon Student Networking Event and Poster session: this event is open to all ICFT delegates; however, only student posters will be displayed. The official Welcoming Reception follows the Student Poster Session.
  • Tuesday Night Poster Session: open to all delegates, this event features all accepted poster presentations (including those displayed on Sunday afternoon/evening).

Sunday poster session: Posters may be set up anytime between noon and 2:30 p.m on Sunday, 12 July. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the 3 p.m. Student Poster Session to setup

Tuesday poster session: All remaining posters can be set up following the Sunday afternoon session between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., or on Monday morning. If you cannot set up during any of the specified time slots, please contact Amy (Ryan) Hill (amy.ryan@dal.ca). Posters should be set up no later than 30 minutes prior to the 6 p.m. Tuesday evening Poster Session.

 To allow for maximum exposure, it is recommended that all posters be set up as soon as possible following the Sunday Student Poster Session. All posters must be taken down after the Tuesday Poster Session.
