ABOUT THE 3rd ICFT

The ICFT presents the latest in aquatic animal telemetry research including conservation physiology, behavioural ecology, and new technology, as well as emerging topics like transboundary issues and data management. 

Hands-on workshops by Canadian and international telemetry equipment manufacturers and field experts on technology, data modelling, and analysis are planned in addition to other great networking and social opportunities.

Registration includes:

  • Admission to all oral, poster and workshop presentations and sessions
  • Lunches during the conference
  • Dinner on Monday, July 13 (light catering will be provided on Sunday and Tuesday events; dinner on your own on Wednesday)
  • Gala Dinner on Thursday, July 16

Registration does not include:

  • Accommodation ($169/night at the Delta Halifax Hotel)
  • Wednesday excursion to Historic Lunenburg
  • Guest admission to the following social events: Monday evening social supper, Wednesday excursion, and Thursday Gala Dinner
